HERE ARE SOME HOME REMEDIES TO KEEP YOUR EYES HEALTHY AFTER LONG HOURS OF COMPUTER WORK.

While working in the office, you have to look at the computer continuously. Again, there is the use of mobile phones in leisure time. This excessive screen time is causing eye problems. Eye twitching, red and irritated eyes, itchy eyes, blurred vision, pain around the eyes and forehead-neck-headaches are all gone. Here are some tips and warnings to get rid of these eye problems:

Reduce the brightness of the computer: It is wise to keep the brightness of the computer low. It is best if you can work sitting 22 inches away from the monitor. If the computer screen is too bright, if you work in low light, if the screen is too close or too far away, it causes eye problems.

Dry eye care: Not everyone gets dry eyes from sitting in front of a screen, but if you have such a problem, wash your eyes thoroughly with cold water after a while. You can also use eye drops as per doctor's advice to relieve dry eyes.

Brake lightly: Take a break for a few minutes when working in front of a screen for long periods of time. Like the body, the eyes also need rest. After 30-40 minutes of continuous work, take a 10-minute break. Drink some water. Pause means, close your eyes and rest. Stay away from screens for a few minutes during breaks. Turn off lights and avoid using TV-laptop-phone etc. It puts more pressure on the eyes. To protect the eyes, blink frequently. Occasionally splash cold water on the eyes and face.

20-20-20 method: If you have been sitting in front of a laptop or computer screen for long periods of time, you can follow the 20-20-20 method. Rest the eyes for at least 20 seconds after 20 minutes.
